Different ways of looking for partners or hosting institutions as well as information on topics and calls will be provided. Scientists will be encouraged to develop their first idea of the project, involving an existing call. Then, they will work on their skills concerning writing successful, scientific proposal. Special attention will be given to the adequate construction of the project and to the correct writing of subsequent parts of the proposal. Also, the way of consulting and evaluating the project by reviewers will be discussed. Additionally, basic budget structure will be provided. Evaluating expert (since 2021) of the NCN (National Science Centre, Poland). In 2020, DAAD Research Fellowship laureate (residency at Helmholtz Zentrum Munich, Institute of Biochemical Plant Pathology), she also improved her skills during scientific internships (Department of Ecology, Evolution and Behaviour of the University of Minnesota, USA; INRA Nancy, UMR INRA UHP Interact Arbres Microorganismes in Champenoux, France). She has authored or co-authored more than 30 publications in peer-reviewed foreign journals with a total IF exceeding 50. She has also provided more than 30 peer reviews for foreign scientific journals. She carries out teaching activities through: supervising master\u2019s and engineering theses; research presentations for children and young people (participation in K\u00f3rnik Science Days).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dr Justyna Malkuch-Switalska<\/strong>&nbsp;has been working with European researchers and scientists since 2006 as an academic trainer and science manager. In 2016, she founded the Academic Trainers\u2019 School based in Cracow (Poland). Her main purpose is to help researchers to use training methods in or outside the Academia, when they transmit their specific knowledge or skills to other people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2014, she has been involved with the European Commission activities, working as advisor and projects evaluator. Her main role there is to analyse the development of PhD programmes and the evolution of research careers in the European Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is the author of the book entitled \u201cResearch projects. Management in practice\u201d, published in August 2020 by Polish Scientific Publishers PWN. She is also the co-author of another book, published in September 2020, where she elaborated a competence framework for experts involved in public participation processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr Justyna Malkuch-Switalska is also associate trainer of two international trainers\u2019 teams based in UK and in Austria.
