Online workshop – „Soft Skills for Researchers – self-motivation and dealing with stress”, 09-10.11.2022

The aim of the training is to develop the skills of researchers to arouse and maintain their own motivation for scientific work, reduce stress and take care of their psychological well-being. During the course, scientists will broaden their knowledge of universal mechanisms driving human motivation and diagnose their dominant needs and motives for undertaking scientific work. They will also deepen their knowledge about the psychophysiological aspects of stress, personal sources and the level of stress experienced. They will acknowledge their strategies for coping with stress, set goals and practice formulating them to increase the likelihood of achieving them. As a result of the proposed exercises, participants will acquire the skills to reduce internal tension and calm down in stressful situations. By participating in the training, researchers will set an important goal related to their own scientific work, prepare a plan for its achievement and develop ways to motivate themselves to act effectively at various stages of the plan’s implementation.
